Welcome to the affordable housing program for the Borough of Upper Saddle River in Bergen County, New Jersey. Piazza & Associates, Inc. has been engaged by the Borough to coordinate the affordable housing opportunities on its behalf.

TO PURCHASE EXISITING SALES: Affordable homes in the purchase program are located on Chapel Lane in Crescent Village. Currently, there are 24 low- and moderate- income units that are built, sold, and occupied. From time to time, they become available for resale. Check the Purchase Existing Home option on the Preliminary Application. Your name will be placed on the waiting list to purchase a home, and you will be notified when a home of the size and income category for which you are eligible becomes available.

TO PURCHASE NEW SALES: In addition to the existing affordable homes, there are seven new 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes that will be for sale at East Crescent Village in the near future. Check the Purchase New Home option on the Preliminary Application. There will be an affirmative marketing program for this property that will include a random selection to prioritize the applications. Pricing and other pertinent information will be available soon.

RESTRICTIONS: In addition to the Maximum Gross Annual Income Limits (left), restrictions include minimum income and ability to obtain financing for sales units. Neither Upper Saddle River nor Piazza & Associates provides financing. The actual terms and conditions of the purchase are negotiated with the seller or their Realtor. All applications are subject to a random selection to determine the priority order in which they are processed.

TO RENT AT THE COMMONS AT UPPER SADDLE RIVER: Affordable apartments are located at The Commons at Upper Saddle River, an apartment community that includes twelve 1, 2 and 3 bedroom low- and moderate- income rental units.
