Thank you for your interest in the affordable housing program in the Township of Lawrence in Mercer County, New Jersey. Piazza & Associates, Inc. has been engaged by the Township to coordinate the affordable housing opportunities on its behalf.

RENTAL OPPORTUNITIES

  • Stewards Crossing: Offers a total of 36 low- and moderate- income rental units as part of Lawrence’s fair share obligation for affordable housing. To apply, check “Rentals” on the Preliminary Application form.

  • Lawrence Gardens: Rentals consist of 2 one- and two- bedroom, age-restricted rental apartments. To apply, check “Rentals” on the Preliminary Application form.


PURCHASE OPPORTUNITIES

All of the sales units in Lawrence are built, sold and occupied. From time to time, they come available for resale. Detailed information regarding specific homes, and floor plans etc., will be available as each goes on the market to be resold. Minimum incomes will be determined by the ability of the purchaser to obtain financing for the home. Click here for available resales.

  • Sales: There are approximately 266 one-, two, and three-bedroom affordable homes to purchase at the following locations: Tiffany Woods, Lawrence Square Village I & II, Eagles Chase, Liberty Green, and Stonerise. To apply, check “Purchase” on the Preliminary Application form.

  • Age-Restricted Sales: There are approximately 71 age-restricted, studio, one-, and two-bedroom affordable homes to purchase at the following locations: The Gatherings, Carriage Park, and Traditions at Federal Point. At least one person must be 55 years or older, and no-one is to be under the age of 19. To apply, check “Purchase” on the Preliminary Application form, and answer “Yes” to the 55+ question.

Within a few weeks, you will receive a letter of determination regarding your eligibility. When an affordable home becomes available for you, we will contact you again for further information and documentation.

ALREADY APPLIED THROUGH LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP? If you have already applied through Lawrence Township, you will still have to submit a Preliminary Application form from Piazza & Associates. We are in the process of notifying everyone on the waiting list to reapply. We will, however, maintain the priority order of those whose names are on the waiting lists through the Township.
